Frozen in time

During a dark and stormy day, I decided to take advantage of the low lighting and this was the result! I’m still a newbie to photography and I’m not ashamed to admit that I got this photo idea from watching Wolf Amri’s photography ideas video. I didn’t have a cool bottle of beer laying around the house so instead of a bottle of beer with the top popping off, I used his technique with my shells. Even though I didn’t follow the video to the T, I’m pretty happy with the results!

Eek! As you can see below, there were many attempts (these are just a few). The lighting was a lot trickier than I imagined but I think I eventually snapped a good enough photo that just needed a little TLC to give me that final Frozen in Time look.
